Daily Rhythm

  • Wilder Meadows is a new 20 acre family farm nestled in the hills of Tenaja, California.

  • Mission Vista charter funds accepted (Sage Oak in the works)

  • This is a fully outdoor class. In the chance of heavy rain, we will schedule a make-up class

  • Nature play area will include climbing structures, a mud kitchen, and nature manipulatives (loose parts, shovels, gloves, etc)

  • Students are asked to wear closed toed shoes, play clothes (a change of clothes might be helpful on muddy days), lunch and a water bottle

  • Drop-off is always an option, but we welcome and encourage parents and younger siblings to stay. We know drive time with little ones can be challenging and we’re a bit outside of town, so we will have designated “community” areas to sit and enjoy coffee, read a book, work, exercise, go for a nature walk, and build the “village” with other like minded-families

  • For your children to be fully engaged and immersed in this program, we encourage parents and siblings who choose to stay to try and give space to their older children as much as possible

  • Annual materials fee includes: nature workbook/ journal and lesson manipulatives

  • Email — WilderMeadowsFarm@gmail.com to inquire about availability. Space is limited

FAQs

“Without continuous hands-on experience, it is impossible for children to acquire a deep intuitive understanding of the natural world that is the foundation of sustainable development. A critical aspect of the present-day crisis in education is that children are becoming separated from daily experience of the natural world.
